SES TERRES is an estate located in the municipality of Artà. It is a small family farm certified in organic farming.

We believe in a model based on agroecology, with products of proximity, quality, season and above all organic.

We produce fresh produce such as vegetables, vegetables and seasonal fruit and lamb meat. On the other hand we also produce processed products such as oils, jams, preserves and dehydrated

Description

SES TERRES is the estate that has been part of the family for generations. For years he devoted himself to the breeding of dairy cows and later to the breeding of chicken. In the 70s, due to the agricultural revolution and the great changes that occurred in industrial agriculture, the exploitation was not economically profitable. The agricultural activity was maintained but in a non-professional way with the breeding of lambs in extensive and also with a large presence of horses, effect of the passion of the family for the sport of trotting races.

In 2017 it was decided to give an important turn to the farm. To live again from her and for her. New tree plantations were carried out and the procedures to obtain the certification of organic agriculture were initiated.

WHO WE ARE

Supported by the family, Pedro Osuna is responsible for the farm. Economist by profession. The need to have contact with the land and nature, his knowledge of agriculture, together with his stimulating and creative character made him bet on the implementation of this project, a project that goes beyond agricultural production. It is a family project, it is a life project.

THE FARM

The farm consists of about 25 hectares. Most of the area is used for sheep pasture. About 2 are occupied by olive groves, 1 ha more for fruit and citrus trees and 2 ha for the production of vegetables and vegetables.
