This wine is made mainly with grapes from the oldest vineyards in Mantonegro planted in 1961 by the grandfather of the house. It is an elegant, fruity and deep wine with mineral backgrounds provided by our vineyard located in predominantly calcareous soils.

ELABORATION

Harvested by hand in 15 kg boxes. Carefully selected grape cluster by cluster from the oldest vines of the native Mantonegro variety, a variety with a lot of aromatic potential, which gives warm and fruity wines. At the table, the reddest grapes are selected. The wine is paired with a part of Merlot from younger vines, which give it more structure.

TASTING NOTES

- Appearance: Bright cherry red with an intense garnet edge.

- Nose: Powerful and complex nose. Aromas of ripe black fruit (blackberries, plum), with mineral, spicy touches and milky notes.

- Palate: Quite fresh and elegant on the palate. Balanced on the palate, with pleasant and smooth tannins. Long and pleasant finish. - Very representative of the Mantonegro variety. Invite to lunch. - Pairing: Grilled meats, game meats, stews, cured cheeses, Iberian ham.
