Since its inception they specialized in the manufacture of typical liquors and today they continue to manufacture them with the same tradition and craftsmanship of times ago. With an artisan and a master craftsman in charge of the manufacture, they are responsible every year for producing their prestigious spirits that they distribute throughout the islands.

Its 130 years of history and six generations of artisans guarantee the quality and good work of this company that has been made without losing its closefamiliar and character.

LICORS MOYÀ IS A FAMILY BUSINESS FOUNDED IN 1890 IN ARTÁ, RUN BY THE FIFTH AND SIXTH GENERATION OF THE MOYÀ FAMILY. Since its inception they specialized in the manufacture of typical liqueurs of the island, such as Herbes, Palo, Mescladís de Matances, Anís sec Estrella d'Artà ... Today they continue to manufacture them with the same tradition and craftsmanship of times ago. With an artisan and a master craftsman in charge of the manufacture, they are responsible every year for producing their prestigious spirits that they distribute throughout the islands, although much of the production of traditional drinks reaches Germany.

Due to the gastronomic evolution and the importance of tourism in the sector, Licors Moyà has been adapting to demand and expanding its range of products, currently manufacturing 50 types of spirits.

Its 130 years of history and six generations of artisans guarantee the quality and good work of this company that has been made with the confidence of the island without losing its familiar and close character.

Licors Moyà is a company that since its inception has passed from father to son. At the moment and for 25 years now, the joint venture is run by the fifth and sixth generations. The recipes have passed only through the hands of the artisans of the Moyà family, without ever having people outside the family in contact with the manufacture, thus preserving its quality and exclusivity.

The fact that the two generations have been able to work together for a long period of time (25 years), means that old techniques have been recovered, adapting them to new products and new trends. Techniques such as boot rest have been recovered, a process that was recovered in 2020. It was used by past generations as it is described in old recipe books, and as Andreu Barceló, friend and former commercial of Licors Moyà, related. The technique of infusion of aromatic plants has been recovered, when for years maceration was simply used. This process has been used in new herbs to give more aroma and body. Techniques with milk, although adapting the recipe book and using drinks based on soy and coconut, instead of animal milk.

Licors Moyà represents one of the oldest family businesses on the island, opened its doors in 1854, although its official foundation is in 1890. With more than 130 years of history, they have unique anecdotes that are part of the identity of the company and the people who make it up. In the middle of the Civil War, 1936, a bomb fell on the factory, destroying it completely, the 3rd generation had to rebuild it completely. This fact infused effort and work in the following generations. Products such as Herbes or Palo Moyà are classified as products with Geographical Indication of the island of Mallorca, giving a seal of quality and prestige to their products
