Veritas Vinyes Velles

Veritas Yinyes Velles red wine, a year-aged red wine made with grapes from our oldest vineyards.

ELABORATION

The production process begins with the manual harvest of our oldest vines first thing in the morning, ensuring that the grapes enter the winery at a low temperature, where they are kept in cold rooms at 0ºC for three days. Selected 500L oak barrels and stainless steel tanks are used for the fermentation of the wine. After a brief resting process to remove the coarse particles, aging begins for a year, in the same type of barrel used in the fermentation process.

Mantonegro, Cabernet Sauvignon, Calet and Sirah

TASTING NOTES

Intense red with violet reflections. Bright and glyceride.

Aromas of berries, along with smoky, spicy and blasamic notes.

Balanced, intense and structured thanks to sweet tannins. Long and persistent. Intense and somewhat roasted aroma in the mouth. High taste persistence.

SERVICE AND PAIRING

Serve between 16 and 18ºC.

Ideal to accompany white and red meat dishes.
